Dr. Keith Pawlish is the proud owner of Accuvision Eye Care OD, PA. Dr. Pawlish graduated from Winthrop University with his B.S. in Chemistry. He was a starting pitcher for the Winthrop Eagles top 25 baseball team in 2000-2001.

After Winthrop, he received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006 finishing second in his class. While in optometry school, Dr. Pawlish joined the United States Navy through one of the scholarships programs.

Immediately following graduation, he was stationed at Marine Corps Base-Camp Lejeune as a Lieutenant.  During his service, he was an eye doctor for the Marine soldiers and pilots. Dr. Pawlish was also selected to play softball for the all-Marine softball team and to represent the USA on the all-armed forces team in 2008.

Dr. Pawlish currently resides in Mt. Holly, NC with his children. When Dr. Pawlish isn’t going to extracurricular events for his children (which is almost always?), he loves playing softball, watching the Steelers, going to the beach and having a glass of wine.

 

Dr. Matthew Bryant graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Nutritional Science in 2009. Then, he obtained his doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2014.

His professional interests include medical eye exams for diabetic and glaucoma patients and contacts lens fittings for astigmatism or multi-focal patients.

In 2015, Dr Bryant relocated to Charlotte, NC where he now lives with his wife and son. His interests include traveling, golfing and spending time with his family.

 

 

Dr. Erin Case studied Chemistry in undergrad before getting her Doctorate of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She has been in practice for over 25 years with most of those years being in Florida. She moved, with her family, two years ago to the Charlotte area and joined our Accuvision team at that time.

Dr. Case does comprehensive eye exams, diabetic eye exams along with red eye office visits. She also specializes in all types of contact lens fits including multifocal contacts and monovision. Dr. Case sees patients of all ages and loves helping patients see better while maintaining their eye health.

Dr. Case spends her free time with her husband, Alex, and their four children. She has a passion for interior design and doing anything in the mountains.

 

Dr. Fred Cloninger graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University with a BS in Biology in 1960. Then, he obtained his Doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1965. Dr. Cloninger has established his optometry practice and has been serving Gastonia residents for over 59 years.

His professional interests include medical eye exams for diabetic and glaucoma patients and contact lens fittings for astigmatism or multifocal patients.

When Dr. Cloninger is not at work, he enjoys playing golf, go out on the lake on his pontoon boat and spending time with his wife, Ann, and their children and grandchildren.

 

 

Dr. Matthew Conlan attended West Virginia University studying Exercise Physiology.  He worked in their Human Performance Lab providing clinical programs to improve physical health and well-being through customized, clinical exercise programs.

After graduating from West Virginia University, Matthew received his Doctor of Optometry from Arizona College of Optometry in 2015. He was an optometric intern at Southwest Eye Institute in El Paso, TX, OMNI Eye Services of Atlanta, GA, Providence VA Medical Center, RI, and Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC.  He is bilingual and can do eye exams in Spanish.

Dr. Conlan is a Buffalo Bills fan and enjoys playing golf, basketball, working out and 3D printing. Go Mountaineers!

 

Dr. William Hundley graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He joined the Accuvision team in 2020 after working in private practice in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He provides comprehensive eyecare for the entire family. In addition to exams for glasses and contact lenses, Dr. Hundley provides preoperative and postoperative cataract and refractive surgery care. He is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases like glaucoma, dry eye, and macular degeneration. His professional interests include multifocal contact lenses and urgent care services.

Dr. Hundley enjoys boating, home renovation television, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. He frequently travels to Nashville, TN and Asheville, NC to spend time with friends and family.

 

Dr. Lemmon is proud to call herself a South Carolina native. She earned a B.S. degree in Biology and graduated with honors from Erskine College. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed a hospital-based ocular disease residency at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center.

Dr. Lemmon stayed in Birmingham to work in both optical and group optometric practice settings for a number of years. During that time, she helped lead UAB optometry students on a number of optometric missions trips to Jamaica, Haiti, El Salvador, and Honduras. After returning to South Carolina, Dr. Lemmon gained experience working in both optometry and opthalmology practices before joining Accuvision Eye Care in 2016. She enjoys practicing comprehensive optometry, including fitting contact lens and managing ocular disease.

Dr. Lemmon resides in York, SC with her husband and children. She stays active with her children’s education and sports, church and traveling with her family.

 

Dr. Hiral Patel graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a B.S. in Biology in 2015. He then obtained a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers Newark, NJ in 2015 and Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University) in 2020.

Dr. Patel has been in Charlotte, NC since 1995 and is proud to provide comprehensive eye exams through Accuvision Eye Care. He is tri-lingual, and his interests include playing basketball, watching football on TV, staying fit, & traveling to the beach!

 

 

 

 

Dr. Pham is originally from Virginia Beach, VA. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. He then completed optometry school at Nova Southeastern University in 2014.

After graduation he moved to North Carolina with his wife, who he met in school and is also an optometrist.

In his spare time, Dr. Pham enjoys watching any and all sports as well as relaxing with his wife and dog.

 

 

 

Dr. Ruchita Shah is a therapeutic optometrist and a certified glaucoma specialist. She grew up in Austin, Texas and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology. She received her doctorate degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.

During optometry school, she was selected for the university’s Dry Eye Specialty Clinic, which provided her with extensive education and clinical skills to treat and manage dry eye disease.
Upon graduating, she practiced in Austin, Texas where she primarily specialized in fitting specialty contact lenses in addition to managing ocular disease. She specializes in fitting patients with keratoconus and other corneal dystrophies, post-corneal grafts, high astigmatism or large prescriptions.

Her professional interests include treating and managing dry eye, fitting specialty contact lenses, and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma.

In 2019, Dr. Shah relocated to Charlotte with her husband. In her spare time, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time exploring new restaurants, traveling, and hiking with her husband.
